Year 2 had the exciting chance to travel back in time to 1666 to find out about the Great Fire of London. We worked in the role of apprentices. Some were Bakers, leather workers, candle makers and Doctors. In the afternoon, we were then archeologists and found items from 1666 by digging in the ground. We had to identify who owned these items, how they lived and what had happened to them. This was a very exciting day where we learnt a lot about the past.
