Fantastic Finish of 'Sticks, Stones & Ancient Bones!'
A fun afternoon was had by all today as children in Year 3 celebrated this term's learning with their parents.
The Year 3 classrooms were transformed into galleries for children to display and demonstrate their learning. Parents had the opportunity to view the children's necklaces, pots and paintings, read the children's limericks and Stone Age reports and enjoy looking at their marvellous Stonehenge models. Then, they had the opportunity to have a go themselves! From painting with sticks and Stone Age paint to dissecting Stone Age poo, the parents were able to share their children's learning. The children spoke confidently and passionately about their learning and everyone really enjoyed the afternoon. Thank you to everybody who was able to attend. For anyone who missed it, the gallery will be open on Open Evening for the rest of the school to enjoy.
