The children are using pneumatic systems to create a monster with a mouth that moves using plastic tubing and a balloon. They learnt about thumbnail sketches and exploding diagrams while designing. 

In Science, Y3 have been learning all about magnets and finding out which materials are magnetic and which aren't. They carried out a 'treasure hunt' investigation to see which hidden objects would be attracted from beneath the sand.
