30 hour Nursery Provision

Historically, Nursery aged children have been entitled to 15 hours of Free Early Education. This will continue with daily provision available from 9am-Midday for your child.

However, our Nursery also offers 30 hours of high quality Free Early Education, subject to eligibility. The 30 hours free childcare is designed to help working families by reducing the cost of childcare and to support parents into work or to work more hours, should they wish to do so.  We believe that the additional time in our setting will also help to further develop your child’s readiness for Reception.

Should you wish to take advantage of this, our nursery will offer 30 hours of high quality early education between the hours of 9am and 3pm, Monday to Friday. Lunchtime will operate during the day between 12pm and 1pm. You will be asked to provide your child with a packed lunch. School provides a snack in the morning at no extra cost to you. School will also provide a snack of fruit and milk/water in the afternoon should your child stay for these additional hours.

We also offer full-time places to parents in receipt of the government's 30 hours funding. For more information and to find out if you are eligible, visit www.childcarechoices.gov.uk

Nursery admissions are managed by the school.  Places are in high demand for our nursery setting. Please contact the school office for a nursery application form.  

Nursery Tours

Nursery Tours and applications for 2024 /2025 are now open. You can book onto a tour through the main school office. Please book early as spaces are filled quickly. 

Our Early Years team is led by Mrs Lisa Hnatiuk and our assistant head, Mrs Andreanna Barton. Our outstanding Early Years team place the needs and interests of each child at the very centre of all they do.  Our children settle in extremely well and enjoy their learning at Roebuck. Above all, they feel nurtured, happy and confident. 

Our learning environment is amazing and boasts an incredibly large and well-resourced outdoor provision which our children love.  

We do suggest you book onto a tour where Jade will be able to answer any questions that you may have.

Applications can be obtained from the office at any point in time. Please use Roebuck Application Form and directly through the school office. 

Applications are welcome on a first come, first served basis. 

Nursery application packs are posted at home and places confirmed.
