Year 1 have started a new non-fiction unit this week all about Florence Joyner. We have even watched videos of her winning the World Record! We have been finding lots of different facts about Florence Joyner. The information we have found will then be made into fact file. In maths we have been focusing on adding with numbers to 10, to do this we have used number lines. In art we are continuing to be inspired by Alma Thomas. We have learnt how to have good brush control and know the different ways we can make the paint look on the paper. Well done to all the Year 1 children for having an amazing determination towards learning!
