This week in literacy, we finished our independent writing based on the book Kick. We wrote a letter to a sporting star about why we felt Fairtrade balls should be used. For our new unit, we have started reading I Believe in Unicorns by Michael Morpurgo. We did some drama around some of the vocabulary and created a feelings board for one of the main characters.

In science we created ideas for everyday objects and wrote an advert to persuade people based on their uses. During art we designed our own buildings such as libraries, museums and stadiums but with some modern designs. In computing we have been continuing with our concept map unit, where we have planned out our own ideas about something we know and are ready to create this using Purple Mash in the next lesson. In history, we have been learning about the Greeks and were comparing facts about Sparta and Athens.
