Recently, we conducted a science experiment on how thick different liquids are. We used Golden Syrup, Lemon Juice, Oil and Mayonnaise to see how long it would take for them to travel down a piece of card. Then we recorded our findings and wrote about our results. This half term we have had dance with Leah who has been teaching us a sequence of different moves as a whole class. During art, we have been finishing off our house drawings that we started last week. We have also had our latest Mini Police session where we learnt about staying safe online and about keeping our pictures and our information private. For computing we have been looking at Concept Maps and how we can use them to organise our ideas. We have now finished our final plot point on our literacy unit Kick and now are about to start planning for our Independent Write. In PE, we have been working with coach Matt on our cricket skills and how we can be more accurate when batting and how we can stop the ball when fielding. On Friday we do our Run and Rave. This involves silly wigs, Pom-poms and some upbeat music. This week we were joined by Year 6s as well.
